What types of domain names can I register through nama.my?
At nama.my, we specialize in providing .my domain names, the official country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Malaysia. You can register and manage .my domains exclusively through our platform.
What is sudo mode, why is it required, and how to enter?
Sudo mode is a security measure using two-factor authentication (2FA) security method.
Sudo mode is required when performing specific tasks such as creating new or edit contacts, and transferring domain.
To enter sudo mode, user has to enter the OTP token generated from the same authenticator for logging in nama.my.

How do I create an account on nama.my?
Click on the "Sign Up" button at the dropdown menu on the top right corner of our website when you click the profile, fill in the required details, and follow the prompts to complete your registration.
What payment method that do you accept?
We are currently only accept Online Banking. Further payment improvement will be updated in the future.
What happened if I miss a payment for my domain renewal?
If you miss a payment, your domain may enter a grace period during which you can still renew it. If not renewed during this period, it may be released for public registration. Check our renewal policy for more details.
How do I view my billing history?
Log in to your account, navigate to the "Billing" section, and you can view your billing history.

How long does it take for my domain registration to be active?
After you purchase a domain on nama.my, it becomes active immediately. You can start using your domain right away.
I already have a domain name from a different domain registrar. Can I transfer it to nama.my?
Yes, you can transfer in your domain name at the transfer section.
I bought a domain name on nama.my. Can I transfer it to a different domain registrar?
Yes, you can transfer out your domain name at the transfer section.
Can I transfer my domain name to a different account on nama.my?
Yes, you can transfer your domain name between accounts at the transfer section.
How do I manage my domain settings?
Log in to your account, go to the "Domains" section, and select the domain you wish to manage. From there, you can update DNS settings, contact information, and more.
Can I change the name of my domain after registering?
No, you cannot change the name of a domain after registering it. A domain name is a unique address on the internet, and once it's registered, it is fixed.
How do I renew my domain?
Log in to your account, go to the "Domains" section, and select the domain you wish to renew. Click on the "Renew" button and follow the prompts to complete the process.

DNSSEC adds an extra layer of security to your domain by ensuring the authenticity of DNS responses. You can enable DNSSEC in the "DNS Management" section of your account.
What measures do you take to ensure the security of my account?
We use two-factor authentication (2FA) and secure login methods to protect your account. Additionally, all sensitive data is encrypted.
How can I recover my account if I forget my password?
Click on the "Forgot Password" link on the login page and follow the instructions to reset your password. An email will be sent to your registered email address with further instructions.
